Frequently asked questions

It is very important to us that you get the best possible experience with your holiday home.
Below are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about booking, payment, arrival, key collection and bed linen.


Booking a holiday home:

The best way to book a holiday home is through the NOVASOL website.
When you have found your ideal holiday home, indicate on the Novasol booking page the number of travelers as well as the period in which you wish to stay. Then click on the Green Book button.
In the next screen, the additional costs are shown, after which you click Next. Then fill in the personal data of the main booker. You can choose the payment method via the next screen. Then check that you agree with our rental conditions and confirm the booking. You will receive a booking confirmation by e-mail as soon as the booking is successful.

Immediately after booking a holiday home you will receive an e-mail with a link to your MyBooking where you can find your payment information and rental agreement (after 100% of the amount has been paid). If you have paid by credit card you can find your rental agreement immediately after booking. 

NOTE: Novasol does not send information via regular mail, because the booking process is done via their website and email. If you want to receive the rental agreement by mail, you must contact the sales team of Novasol and book a holiday home with them.

If you are planning to book a holiday for next year, you can pre-order at NOVASOL. We do not have a price yet, because the next season starts in spring/summer and we work on a basis of 1-year contracts.
When the contract is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation of the booking together with the rental price. If you are not happy with the price you can cancel the booking free of charge.
If you want to place a pre-order, we need the following information: the house number, the date of your stay, Your Name, Your address, your telephone number and your e-mail address.
There is a chance that the holiday home will no longer be available in the following year or that the House will be in use by the homeowner on the chosen date. In this case, we will recommend you an alternative so that you can still have a nice vacation. This is not very common as we have loyal homeowners and we hope that you can just enjoy your holiday at NOVASOL!

When describing a holiday home, it is clearly indicated whether and how many pets are allowed. Extra pets are sometimes allowed, but we should always check with the homeowner in advance. In that case, please contact us. As soon as the homeowner agrees to your request, we will inform you immediately.

The price of the final cleaning varies and depends on the size of the holiday home. You will see the exact price when booking your stay, where you can add it as an additional service. If you have already booked your stay, you can call us and we will give you the price for the final cleaning.

For some holiday homes, the final cleaning is mandatory and you can see the price in the total rental price. If the final cleaning is not in the rental agreement, you must pay it upon arrival.

If you rent from NOVASOL, it may be that in addition to the rental price there are also consumption costs, unless the description says that it is free. Electricity, water, heating and wood are variable costs and are included in the total price for many holiday homes.

You do not have to pay a deposit in many cases.

Arrival, departure and keys

At property Invest you can pick up the Keys after 16:00 and from 16:00 you can enter the holiday home.

Please note, that if you arrive early, you cannot expect to be able to enter the holiday home earlier, as PROPERTY INVEST needs time to prepare the holiday home.
Please make sure you have your desired / expected arrival time on your MyBooking page, so PROPERTY INVEST can confirm this. If you plan to arrive earlier than the time specified by you, this must be confirmed by the owner or contact person, otherwise it will not be possible to receive the key at the desired time.

Upon arrival, pick up the key at property Invest at the address: Kapelstraat 137A – 8450 Bredene). If you check in later than expected, please contact the agency directly to assist you.

On your MyBooking on this page, you can find a PDF called “Route description/Key Collection” that says the location. 

Please note: the address of the Keys is not necessarily the same as that of your holiday home.

You have until 10am to check out.

You can return the keys to Property Invest at the same address. If you check out earlier than opening hours or the agency is closed for other reasons, you can leave the keys in the mailbox provided there.

The NOVASOL concept: what should I bring?

In our holiday homes you will find basic kitchen equipment and duvets and pillows for all beds. However, there are no children's duvets. The rental is decorated to the taste of the owner and can be seen in the photos in the description. Please note that the star rating is related to the quality and quantity of basic and special equipment.

Under the heading facilities on the page of the House description you will find all the facilities that are available in the holiday home. Photos are not always leading. When a particular facility is not listed, for example, the internet or a coffee maker, then most likely it will not be present.

There are usually no cleaning products in the holiday home. Therefore, we recommend that you bring your own cleaning products or, if possible. However, there is a vacuum cleaner and a floor mop and bucket.

Extras such as towels, bed linen and tea towels can be included in the price or can be rented before arrival (no later than 5 days before arrival this must be communicated).

These can be collected from Property Invest during opening hours.

It's a good idea to bring your own food and drinks, as well as the most necessary things for the kitchen and bathroom, including paper towels and toilet paper.

If you lose or forget something in one of our stays, please contact property Invest. We may charge a fee for the search.
